Highline Secondary School achievers awarded

IN addition to commemorating Namibia’s 33rd independence celebrations, the pupils and teachers of Highline Secondary School in Windhoek received accolades from the Chinese embassy on Friday.

Among the pupils who had received awards were Lucia Hashilanda, who received the award for best overall pupil and a cash prize of N$3 500, and Imannuel Mbwale, who was one of the recipients of the Chinese sponsorship award.

Mathew Kalimbo, an English teacher at Highline, received an exceptional academic award for his acquisition of two distinctions in the 2022 NSSCO English exams, while school principal Sackeus Nghuulikwa awarded the Chinese ambassador to Namibia, Zhao Weiping, an appreciation award.
