Henties Bay chief executive officer (CEO) Elizabeth Coetzee has been suspended by the council for six months.
Her suspension was confirmed by mayor Lewies Vermaak.
“Yes, I can confirm that she has been suspended, but I cannot comment on it until investigations into the allegations against her are concluded,” he says.
Human resources manager Ignasia Neis has been appointed as acting CEO.
