Heini signs with Soendergyscke

WINDHOEK – Civics midfield sensation Heini Isaacks has signed a one-season contract with Denmark’s First Division side Soendergyscke.

Isaaks, who jetted in this week from Denmark, said that his contract would be extended once his new club was promoted to that country’s Super League. Though he is on loan following his contractual agreement with Civics until 2010, the 21-year-old player described the level of football in that country as very tough. After having signed with Soendergyscke, Isaacks has featured in three matches as a striker.According to him, the club tops the league and stands a good chance to be promoted to the Super League after having been relegated last season.Said Isaacks: “I want to continue playing for them since I have comfortably settled in.”If his contract with Soendergyscke is extended, it will mean Isaacks will have more lucrative benefits. The skilled and fast-pace midfielder will feature in the Brave Warriors encounter against Ethiopia in the African Nations Cup qualifier this Saturday at the Sam Nujoma Stadium. It will be his fifth appearance for the senior national team.Civics head coach Helmuth Scharnowski said two other Civics players, midfielder Rudi Louw and teammate William Shilufya, have been invited for trials during Soendergyscke’s pre-season period in January of next year.Scharnowski said this followed a co-operation agreement between his club and Soendergyscke. The co-operation will Civics’ youth development programme, coaching and an exchange of physiotherapists.German-based professional footballer Collin Benjamin, who also arrived in Windhoek this week, said the forthcoming match is a must-win.”It’s about time that we go all out and win.I am personally happy that Quinton Jacobs indicated he’s coming. We have said many times that the public must come in their thousands – now it’s time to deliver so that the supporters have a reason to continue watching the Brave Warriors,” he said.NampaThough he is on loan following his contractual agreement with Civics until 2010, the 21-year-old player described the level of football in that country as very tough. We have said many times that the public must come in their thousands – now it’s time to deliver so that the supporters have a reason to continue watching the Brave Warriors,” he said.Nampa
