Heavy rainfall expected

HEAVY rains are expected to hit central and northern Namibia, including the Otjozondjupa and Omaheke regions, from 15 to 18 November, according to meteorologist Odillo Kgobetsi.

“Residents of the north and parts of Omaheke, as well as the southeastern parts of the country, should also prepare for heavy rainfall over the next three days,” Kgobetsi said in a statement on Wednesday.

“Coastal areas will experience some clouds and a few showers in the early mornings, with some clearing expected over the Zambezi region,” he added.
