Hazards On Dordabis Road

Open Letter to Chief of Nampol I AM a regular user of the road between Dordabis and Windhoek over the past three and a half years.

On a permanent basis for the mentioned past three and a half years, there are domestic animals (donkeys, horses, mules and cattle) on this road and, very interestingly, only on approximately the first 8 km from Dordabis to Windhoek. Numerous accidents have occurred because these animals are always left unattended.Apparently , the Police of Dordabis either do not want to take action or are incapable of finding and prosecuting the owners of these animals, who have already have caused accidents and injuries amounting to thousands of Namibian dollars.Numerous letters and complaints have been lodged with the Dordabis Police by road users and farm owners, but to date nothing has been done to address and solve this serious concern. Please Sir, be so kind as to respond and provide answers and assist us to solve this problem before unnecessary lives are lost and further damages to private property are incurred.Worried Road User DordabisNumerous accidents have occurred because these animals are always left unattended.Apparently , the Police of Dordabis either do not want to take action or are incapable of finding and prosecuting the owners of these animals, who have already have caused accidents and injuries amounting to thousands of Namibian dollars.Numerous letters and complaints have been lodged with the Dordabis Police by road users and farm owners, but to date nothing has been done to address and solve this serious concern. Please Sir, be so kind as to respond and provide answers and assist us to solve this problem before unnecessary lives are lost and further damages to private property are incurred.Worried Road User Dordabis
