Gymnastics champs in SA

THE African Championships for Rhythmic and Artistic Gymnastics, as well as Trampoline and Tumbling, will be taking centre stage in Cape Town, South Africa, at the end of this month.

Namibia will be represented by Tamarin van Rhyn from Ocean View Gymnastics Club in Swakopmund in the individual senior category, and by Nicole Bierbach and Mirja Stoldt. These two junior gymnasts from SKW Gymnastics Academy in Windhoek will compete in the individual as well as in the team event.Their participation in the African Championships was sponsored by the Michelle McLean Children’s Fund.The three gymnasts are currently training in Windhoek under the supervision of national coach Angela Lepekha.She will accompany the team to the African Championships with two judges, Leonie Botes (Swakopmund) and Roumiana Kostin (Walvis Bay).These two junior gymnasts from SKW Gymnastics Academy in Windhoek will compete in the individual as well as in the team event.Their participation in the African Championships was sponsored by the Michelle McLean Children’s Fund.The three gymnasts are currently training in Windhoek under the supervision of national coach Angela Lepekha.She will accompany the team to the African Championships with two judges, Leonie Botes (Swakopmund) and Roumiana Kostin (Walvis Bay).
