NEW YORK – Rapper Gucci Mane will be released on Wednesday after serving six months of a one-year jail sentence in Atlanta, a source has confirmed.
Gucci, born Radric Davis, was incarcerated after violating terms of his probation for a 2005 assault conviction. In December, he released an album titled ‘The State vs Radric Davis’, which has sold 353 000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.He is booked to perform at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert in New Jersey on June 6. – Nampa-Reuters
