A security officer employed by 6000 Security Services at Ondangwa company allegedly accidentally shot and killed himself on Tuesday.
The incident happened at around 18h00.
Regional commander for the Oshikoto police commissioner Theopoline Kalompo-Nashikaku confirmed the incident. She said the guard was on duty during the time of incident, and a colleague passing by heard a gun shot and went to the site to find the Josef Mbango dead.
Mbango’s next of kin have been informed.
