Gospel Music Festival on tonight

The annual Gospel Music Festival is set take place today (Saturday) in Windhoek with a host of artists expected to mesmerise the crowd.

The festival was started in 2018 by gospel artists Franklin Shitaleni and Leopold Vatileni.

A family affair, the event is aimed at promoting Namibian gospel music among members of the public.

 “The objective is to catapult gospel in the local sphere by offering a wide range of stakeholders opportunities,” said Vatileni also known as DeeA under EFDEE Music Productions.

“Expect something different from the show every year, we speak about good atmosphere and worshiping and celebrating God,” Vatileni said.

Several artists, including Franklin and DeeA, Trinity, Pride, Karl MK, Alex Shiwayu, Ichabwoid, Dv8, Mukuenze, Rosevinda, Radical worship and Ally Tobias are some of the artists expected perform at the Echo Centre at 18h30.

Tickets to the show, themed Jesus Over everything, are available at we-ticket, N$150 for a general ticket and N$250 for VIP tickets.
