Gondwana scoops five wins at Best of Namibia 2025 Awards

Gondwana Collection Namibia has been named one of the standout winners at the Best of Namibia 2025 Awards, taking home five honours across key accommodation, travel and transport categories.

In the accommodation division, Etosha Safari Lodge was voted best lodge, while Etosha Safari Camp earned the title of best campsite.

The group’s Etosha Safari Camping2Go product, which offers a luxurious ‘glamping’ experience, was recognised as best glamping experience.

Beyond accommodation, Gondwana Collection’s travel and transport services also received top accolades.

Gondwana Travel Centre was awarded best travel agent, while Namibia2Go, the company’s car rental arm, was voted best car rental service.

The Best of Namibia Awards, held annually, celebrate the country’s most exceptional businesses and destinations as determined by public votes.

The competition draws participation from both Namibians and international visitors, with thousands casting votes across a range of tourism, hospitality, food, retail and service categories.

Gondwana Collection Namibia expressed appreciation to its supporters, saying the recognition reflects both the trust of travellers and the dedication of its staff.

“We are deeply honoured by this recognition and incredibly thankful to everyone who voted for us.

These awards reflect the hard work of our teams and our ongoing commitment to offering exceptional Namibian experiences,” the group says in a number of social media posts.

Founded in 1995, Gondwana Collection Namibia has grown from a single lodge into one of the country’s largest privately owned tourism groups.

Today, it operates a diverse portfolio of lodges, camps and travel services across the country, with a focus on sustainable tourism, community partnerships and nature conservation.

By combining quality accommodation with tailored travel planning and reliable car rental, Gondwana is able to offer seamless and memorable experiences for visitors exploring Namibia.

The awards also reflect broader trends in Namibia’s tourism industry, where travellers are increasingly seeking operators that can deliver a full-service experience while maintaining strong environmental and community commitments.
