Girl said to be raped while fetching water

A teenager (17) with a mental disability has allegedly been raped while sent to fetch water at a community water point at Okafitu Kakahala village in the Omusati region.

The incident allegedly took place on Sunday at 17h00.

Omusati police deputy commissioner Malakia Simaho says the suspect is yet to be arrested, but is known to police.
