Executive director (ED) in the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare Martha Mbombo has been reappointed to the board of the Namibia Power Corporation (NamPower).
Mbombo was appointed as the gender equality ED last March.
The Ministry of Finance and Public Enterprises announced the new and reappointed members of the NamPower board on Friday.
She joins Consulting Services Africa head Evat Kandongo and Silke Hornung, while Letshego’s Ester Kali will lead the board as chairperson. Kali’s deputy is lawyer Laurence Kavendjii, alongside project manager Gottlieb Hamutwe and Norconsult Africa executive director Ralph Tobich.
They will serve for the next four years.
