THANK you for allowing me to air my comments regarding the ex-combatants.
It has come to my attention that some of the things being done here in our country are related to those in some other African countries. Around 1994 and 1995 Zimbabwe faced one of the most devastating economic crises that they still regret. How did it happen? It all started with the ex-combatants striking for money as payment for what they had done for their country.Out of nowhere their president ordered the ministry to pay them and it was not in the budget at all.If this is to happen in Namibia we will ?nd ourselves in the same crisis as Zimbabwe where if you want to buy a shirt, you have to carry a plastic bag full of money! fellow Namibians, are we ready to face such a crisis? I thought we fought for independence for everyone and not for only for some. Please let’s not be sel?sh.Please don’t change your mind or feel pity for them – let’s all taste the fruits of independence equally.A S H Via e-mailAround 1994 and 1995 Zimbabwe faced one of the most devastating economic crises that they still regret. How did it happen?
