Four men, including incumbent president of the United Democratic Front (UDF) Apius Auchab are contesting for the party presidency.
The elective congress for the 35-year-old party is taking place at Swakopmund on Saturday.
The presidential hopefuls are member of parliament Dudu Mororua, Sesfontein councillor Hendrick Gaobaeb and Christian !Nanuseb, who is a local authority councillor at Omaruru municipality.
Murorua told The Namibian on Saturday that delegates at the congress are expected to cast their votes on Saturday, with the results also be announced later on Saturday.
