Four suspects hand themselves over to Kavango West police for man’s murder

Four suspects have handed themselves over to the Namibian Police in the Kavango West region in connection with the death of a man in the Nkurenkuru constituency.

According to chief inspector Raimbert Muronga, the incident occurred on Sunday at around 21h00 at Kakuro village.

Community members reported the discovery of the man’s body at the Nkurenkuru police station at around 09h00 on Monday.

It’s alleged that four suspects, two men and two women, hit the man to death with sticks.

It’s further alleged that the suspects attacked the deceased after he attacked one of the community members in the area.

The suspects were all arrested and detained at the police station, where they will be charged with murder.

Muronga says the deceased has not yet been identified.

Police investigations continue.
