Former NFA president faces fraud charges

OSHAKATI – The former president of the Namibia Football Association (NFA), Immanuel Imms Namaseb, was arrested at Oshakati on Wednesday on charges of cheque fraud amounting to N$36 000.

Court officials confirmed that Namaseb, who is currently in charge of a company called IDEA (PTY) Limited located in the Coolmaster Complex near Ongwediva, made his first brief appearance in the Oshakati Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning.
