THE driver of a car, registration number N20000SH, which hit a boy outside Oshivelo on the main road to Ondangwa at around 10h00 on Friday did not flee the scene, as reported by the Police on Sunday.
Christo Cooper, a friend of the driver, said yesterday that his friend had actually reported the accident to the Police at Oshivelo and even contacted the Tsumeb Hospital, where Wellington Uirab later died because injuries sustained in the accident.
