FNB Insurance Namibia launched a partnership with transportation service LEFA, aimed at protecting their clients and empowering them to make smart choices through responsible driving.
Speaking at the launch of the event on Tuesday in Windhoek, FNB Insurance CEO Georg Garrels said the main reason for the launch is to promote road safety.
“When clients want to go out and socialise, they can have a safe way to get home, as well as enjoy other family benefits. FNB Insurance clients will be able to call LEFA drivers to drive them to their homes using two vouchers per month,” said Garrels.
Garrels said that while the benefit to promote road safety will primarily apply in Windhoek at present, it will be open to all clients with vehicles covered by FNB Insurance.
“The benefit is for our clients to get off the road in the evening when they are having a couple of drinks, but also for our clients to use it for their kids or any other benefits,” he said.
Iyaloo Magongo, marketing manager at LEFA Transportation Services, said the launch aims to promote responsible driving.
“At LEFA, we are passionate about making urban mobility safer, smarter, and more convenient for all. Today’s collaboration reflects that very mission.
“We are proud to be working alongside FNB Insurance to promote responsible and safe driving, encouraging their insurance clients to use a safe and reliable service,” she said.
