FNB embracing the youth

AS commercial banks try to outdo each other in attracting customers from all sections of society, First National Bank this week introduced products aimed at encouraging young people to save.

The two products, FutureSave and FutureForward, are targeted at those under the age of 18. Both are savings accounts, which come coupled with a debit card. These new products are an upgrade to the former Bob Junior and Bob Teen accounts.Addressing pupils at Holy Cross Convent in Windhoek during the products’ launch, FNB Group Chief Executive Officer Vekuii Rukoro painted a glorious picture of the benefits of the products.”These bank accounts offer you financial freedom whilst at the same time they introduce you to financial discipline,” he said.
