MANILA, Philippines Vast areas of the northern Philippines remained under water as the death toll from a week of heavy monsoon rains rose to 35, disaster relief officials said yesterday.
At least six people were reported missing and eight others injured in the floods that affected more than 1,4 million people in Metro Manila and northern provinces, the National Disaster Coordinating Council said. – Nampa-AP- Nampa-AP
