Five babies born in Erongo on New Year’s Day

Five babies were delivered at hospitals in the Erongo region on New Year’s Day.

Three of the babies were delivered at the Swakopmund State Hospital.

“One girl and two boys were delivered at the hospital on Wednesday,” matron Eiodesia Simon says.

Sister Teopolina Ndishishi, meanwhile, confirmed that no babies were born at the Usakos State Hospital on New Year’s Day.

The Welwitschia Private Hospital at Walvis Bay recorded two deliveries, both boys, matron Loide Imene at the hospital’s maternity ward confirmed.
