‘Fake patient’ robs nurse, security guard at gunpoint

A nurse and security guard were robbed at gunpoint at Lisikili Clinic at Katima Mulilo last Friday, according to inspector Pendukeni Haikali in the police weekend report.

Two unknown men approached the clinic, claiming one of them had been bitten by a snake on the leg and when the victim opened the door to assist, one of the suspects held her at gunpoint.

“He demanded money, which was handed over by the nurse. The suspects also stole four cell phones valued at N$6 400 and N$880 in cash,” Haikali said.

Police investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
