European countries issue airline blacklists

THE following airlines have been blacklisted by Belgium, Britain, France and Switzerland because of safety concerns:

1.United Kingdom has blacklisted: Star Air and Air Universal, both of Sierra Leone; Cameroon Airlines; Albanian Airlines; Central Air Express of DRC. 2. France has blacklisted: Air Koryo of North Korea; Air Saint-Thomas of US Virgin Islands; International Air Service of Liberia, Air Mozambique (LAM) – including its subsidiary Transairways and Phuket Airlines of Thailand.3. Belgium has blacklisted: Africa Lines of Central African Republic; Air Memphis of Egypt; Air Van Airlines of Armenia; Central Air Express of DRC; ICTTPW of Libya; International Air Tours Ltd.of Nigeria; Johnsons Air Ltd., of Ghana; Silverback Cargo Freighters of Rwanda and South Airlines of Ukraine.4. Switzerland has blacklisted: Flash Airlines of Egypt and Air Van Airlines from Armenia -International News Safety Institute2.
