President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says ethical leadership is non-negotiable for the government to ensure service delivery.
Nandi-Ndaitwah also warns that corruption is one of the biggest threats to public trust.
She was speaking at the opening of the two-day Cabinet retreat on Thursday morning.
“Ethical leadership is non-negotiable. Corruption in all its forms, undermines public trust and diverts resources meant for development. As leaders, we must demonstrate integrity, transparency and moral clarity,” she said.
The two-day retreat aims to establish alignment within government ministries by improving policy coordination governance and service delivery for national development.
Nandi-Ndaitwah called for every public resource to be managed with care and every decision must reflect fairness and accountability.
