Election co-ordinator commits suicide

OSHANA regional elections co-ordinator Anna Kuwa-Ashikoto (47) hanged herself with a wire in her bedroom at Ongwediva Wednesday morning.

Police Deputy Commissioner Josef Anghuwo, who confirmed the incident to The Namibian, said it is not known what drove Kuwa-Ashikoto to take such a drastic step.
