Egyptian envoy to Iraq kidnapped

BAGHDAD – The new Egyptian ambassador to Iraq, Ihab al-Sharif, was kidnapped late on Saturday in Baghdad, just a month after taking up post, an embassy employee and the Iraqi interior ministry said yesterday.
