CAPE TOWN – The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 15th annual Africa Economic Summit opened in Cape Town yesterday with a strong call by business to support the proposals contained in the recent Commission for Africa report for promoting economic growth and development across the continent.

The CEOs of two of Africa’s largest multinational companies , mining giant Anglo American plc and SABMiller, voiced their firm commitment to promote future African investment opportunities and spread the word about their successes on the continent to date. -Mail&Guardian-Mail&Guardian
