THREE teenagers were arrested at Dordabis this week after allegedly stabbing a horse belonging to a member of the community.
The three, aged 12, 13 and 15, appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court in Katutura yesterday on animal cruelty charges, and were released into the care of their parents afterwards. According to Police at the village, the three apparently stole the horse and rode it to a nearby farm over the weekend, before returning the animal and repeating their actions on Monday.”Yesterday the community informed us that they saw the horse trying to walk with its intestines falling out, and they called us,” the officer said.”We eventually had to shoot it,” he said.According to Police at the village, the three apparently stole the horse and rode it to a nearby farm over the weekend, before returning the animal and repeating their actions on Monday.”Yesterday the community informed us that they saw the horse trying to walk with its intestines falling out, and they called us,” the officer said.”We eventually had to shoot it,” he said.
