DoBox is Namibia’s first-of-its-kind privately-owned business incubator and co-working space for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs.
Situated right in the heart of beautiful Windhoek at FNCC, the company opened its doors on 7 January and currently incubates nine entrepreneurs.
“As entrepreneurs, we often feel isolated. We work incredibly hard and don’t always find the support that we need and DoBox is looking to change that. At DoBox, you become part of a community of entrepreneurs. Tap into a peer-learning culture, networks and sharing of resources. Because competing is yesterday and collaborating is now,” a statement read.
“Namibia has a lot of young entrepreneurs who are passionate about finding solutions that can improve our communities. It’s exciting to see the entrepreneurs at DoBox connect, share, support and encourage one another. These entrepreneurs and their companies will have a considerable impact on our economy in the coming years,” Chantal Claassen, chief operating officer of Dololo, shared on DoBox.
The company has opened its next round of applications and have 12 spots available for true champions to be incubated (business training and development).
Entrepreneurs are invited to apply and can find more information about DoBox at dololo.io/dobox/.
“Being at DoBox has been very insightful. The workshops have allowed me to strategise towards my business goals and objectives. Being around other entrepreneurs allows me to bounce ideas off peers, learn from their experiences and expertise,” an entrepreneur said.
“This has been an amazing experience for me. I am constantly surrounded by other driven entrepreneurs and that helps keep me motivated to push for my business,” Jerome Xoagub said.
Xoagub is part of the Motlee HR System team that just won the Sanlam Innovation Works Project and was selected as one of the top five winners out of 170 applications.
