Dignity kits for Otweya women

THE United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has donated 13 000 dignity kits to the fire victims of Twaloloka.

The kits contain sanitary pads, a facecloth, bath soap, and other feminine hygiene products.

UNPFA country representative Sheila Roseau, handed the donation to the outgoing councillor of Walvis Bay rural constituency John Nangolo on Monday for distribution.

“Sometimes in disasters, basic needs are met but often personal hygiene is forgotten. The donation today is small but it will go a long way,” she said.
