Diamond markets start on positive note

ACCORDING to PolishedPrices, an independent news and price list provider to the diamond industry, diamond prices remained firm in quiet trading during the first week following the Christmas break.

The main PolishedPrices index, which covers all sizes between 0,3 carats and three carats, opened 1,8 per cent higher at 127,7 points.
