A final squad of 28 players has been selected to represent Namibia at the Rugby Africa Cup in France.
Centre, Johan Deysel, who plays for Colomiers in France, will captain the side, which includes 16 forwards and 12 backs, as well as several other professional players from abroad.
They include loose forwards Janco Venter and Wian Conradie from England, hooker Thorsten van Jaarsveld from France; hooker Louis van der Westhuizen and prop Aranos Coetzee from the Cheetahs; and half backs Damian Stevens and Hilarius Kisting.
Several local based playerds have also made the final squad including Chemigan Beukes, Jano Otto, Alcino Isaacs and Lorenzo Louis.
Following a three-week training camp in Stellenbosch, the squad has now left for France where they will play Burkina Faso in their quarterfinal match on Friday, 1 July.
