Defender Toromba transfer listed

NAMIBIAN international defender Hartman Toromba, who plies his trade for South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Free State Stars, is among eight players on the club’s transfer list.

The transfer list was posted on the KickOff.com website yesterday.
Free State Stars are wasting no time in beginning preparations for the 2009/10 soccer season.
Ea Lla Koto brand manager Rantsi Mokoena disclosed that the services of defenders Toromba, Christopher Tsotetsi, midfielders Hleza Mofedi, Motseothata November, David Telfer and S’fiso Sithole, along with strikers Jimmy Kauleza and Mpho Maleka, would no longer be required next season.
Free State Stars finished fourth on the Absa Premiership table.
Efforts by Nampa to get comment from Toromba on his future plans proved futile.
Toromba formed part of the country’s senior national team which unsuccessfully campaigned for a place in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, as well as the 2010 African Cup of Nations’ finals in neighbouring Angola.
Toromba previously played for local side Black Africa.
He also played for Black Leopards who are now campaigning in the South African National First Division (NFD) Inland Stream. – Nampa
