THE chief executive officer of the Ministry of Defence-owned August 26 Holding Company, retired colonel George Kaxuxwena, has died.
Kaxuxwena’s son Popyeni Kaxuxwena confirmed the death of his father to The Namibian this afternoon.
Kaxuxwena (63) died in a Windhoek hospital on Tuesday night.
His son said the family is yet to decide when he is going to be buried.
August 26 Holding Company is the mother company of the defence ministry’s business ventures.
