AN employee of De Beers Marine Namibia was released on bail of N$25 000 yesterday after appearing in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on diamond theft charges, the Police reported yesterday.
Amos Chimbuelengue (35) was arrested on Thursday afternoon at Windhoek’s Eros Airport after he was found carrying 531 unpolished diamonds valued at about N$800 000, according to the Police. The case was postponed to September 21.The case was postponed to September 21.
