Dalom Music bands are tops

The Dalom Music Production crew has done it again!

It was evident from the big smiles on the faces of the hundreds of people who jam-packed the Independence Arena in Katutura, that they were enjoying the Battle of Disco Giants live show on Saturday.’Hell this is just great. I am getting full value for my money. I had the privilege to first see the show in Katima, then Rundu, now here in Windhoek. I am a truck driver and I am a big fan of Dan Tshanda and Splash,’ noted Petrus Somaeb who was clearly enjoying himself at the show on Saturday. The people danced to the music of little known Bongile and Slindile, who thrilled the crowd with her elegant dancing moves on the stage, before the rasper voice of Neo Maphaka took the screaming crowd back to the day’s when he was a member of the now-disbanded popular disco band of the 80’s CJB with hits like ‘Happy Birthday’ and ‘The Boss Is Back’.The crowd was already worked up when the Dalom Kids took to the stage and they had the crowd on the frenzy with their exceptional dancing and angelic voices. The crowd just loved their golden oldie hit ‘Ndicendeni’.Patricia Majalisa took the excited audience to another level with her beautiful voice as she belted out her new and old hits but the moment that people were waiting for was when Dan Tshanda took to the stage. And the much-liked man from Venda didn’t disappoint as he, notwithstanding the erratic sound system which threatened to spoil the show, performed hit after hit like ‘Peacock’, ‘Tshokotshoko’ ‘Danny’ and ‘Vhopophi’ the crowd were swerving on another level.
