Cop kills cop, shoots self

A POLICE officer based at the Mariental Police Station shot a fellow officer in the station’s charge office and then turned the gun on himself.

Warrant Officer Christopher Munyika of the Police Public Relations Division said Constable Isak Kanyanga (24) shot Constable Mina Hummel (27) in the head shortly after they arrived for duty at 06h55 on Sunday.
