ABSALOM SHIGWEDHA THE first cold front of this winter hit the central and southern parts of Namibia over the weekend, with night temperatures plummeting below freezing point.

Weatherman Simon Dirkse said yesterday that it will remain bitterly cold today, but the front should pass by tomorrow.
