CHRISTMAS CHEER …

On Friday evening, the City of Windhoek officially switched on the Christmas lights along Windhoek’s Independence Avenue. The event took place at Zoo Park. The lights symbolise the commencement of the festive season and will remain on until the end of the season. Speaking at the event, Windhoek chief executive Moses Matyayi cautioned citizens to enjoy the festive season responsibly, adding that they should take on the festive season with the right attitude.
