China, US lock horns on product piracy

BEIJING – China yesterday criticised US plans to file World Trade Organisation complaints over Chinese product piracy and market access for movies, music and books.

The government expressed “great regret and strong dissatisfaction” at the US decision to file the complaints, Commerce Ministry spokesman Wang Xinpei said on the ministry’s Web site.
