Chile Futsal Club continued its relentless march to the 2025 Futsal Premier League title with a 7-3 victory against Windhoek Industrial and Agricultural Show FC over the weekend.

Their closest rivals Quality FC also notched up a commanding victory against Ballers FC, but with the league now entering its final stages, Chile are the hot favourites to win the title.

On Saturday, they initially received stiff resistance from WIAS before easing to a comfortable victory, with Wesley Otto and Bornface Siyanga each scoring a brace, and Jurgen van der Byl, Rolando Swartz and Celso Roberto one goal each. That saw them maintaining their unbeaten run this season with a 23rd victory out of 25 matches while the other two matches were drawn, which puts them on 71 points at the top of the log.

Quality, however, kept their faint title hopes alive, beating Ballers 6-1, with Luis Solunga and Ezio Chivas each scoring two goals and Eddy Solunga and Chisloth Nunda one goal each.

Quality, are now on 62 points from 23 matches, but even if they win their two matches in hand, they will still trail Chile by three points.

The battle for third place, meanwhile, hotted up after Windhoek Futsal Club suffered a 6-2 defeat to the X Men.

The result left WFC in third place on 49 points, but the X Men are now just five points behind in fourth and can still beat them to the post.

EFG Patriots could potentially also finish third after they joined the X Men on 44 points with a 2-1 win against 7 Kings.

The result leaves 7 Kings second from bottom on the log on 14 points, deep in the relegation zone.

Selecao FC have already been relegated after they earlier withdrew from the league after financial difficulties prevented them from playing their matches in Windhoek.

Two more clubs will still be relegated and Flying V are nearly certain to join the drop, especially after their 7-1 defeat to Boston Madrid on Saturday. They have only obtained four points all season and only a miraculous revival will be able to save them.

The other spot, however, is still wide open with JAC FC and WIAS still fighting for survival.

JAC, who are on 14 points along with 7 Kings, were thumped 14-0 by The Mavericks, while WIAS are just two points above following their defeat to Chile.

In another match on Saturday, ninth-placed Ineos FC beat 11th-placed Demia FC 3-2.

The Namibia Futsal Association, meanwhile, has announced that Quality FC will participate in an international tournament in Angola this week.

Quality have been invited to compete in the Heroi Nacional Futsal Tournament in Namibe, Angola which starts on Wednesday and will continue to Sunday.
