The police in the Omusati region have reported that a girl (6) died after allegedly being stung by a scorpion.
The incident took place at Oluno village on Sunday.
The police say the girl was indoors when the scorpion stung her foot.
She was rushed to Tsandi District Hospital for treatment, but died the following day.
