Change Mugabe Street Name

ROBERT Mugabe’s treatment of his people is deplorable.

What is equally disturbing is our government’s apparent condonation thereof. We the people of Namibia should demonstrate that we truly believe in democracy and government with integrity.We should maintain our insistence that our government denounces Robert Mugabe and sides with the people of Zimbabwe.As a start I suggest that we insist that Robert Mugabe’s name is removed from every street in Namibia.It is an insult to a great man like ex-president Nelson Mandela that a street named after him intersects with a street named after Robert Mugabe in Windhoek.Does our government want to be seen to insult Mr Mandela and what he stands for?
