Chairman of NNCCI killed after car accident

THE Chairman of the Northern Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Phillip Amwele has died at the age of 51 in the Onandjokwe Lutheran Hospital on Monday night Amwele, a well-known technician and businessman from Ondangwa in Oshana Region, was seriously injured in a car accident between Karibib and Usakos in June last year.

His daughter, Namutenya Amwele, who was with him in the car when the accident happened, survived.
