WE have seen the pictures of the devastating floods at Mariental over the weekend after the sluice gates of the nearby Hardap Dam were opened.
If allegations are true that NamWater officials are found to be indirectly responsible for this calamity for having waited until the eleventh hour to announce an evacuation amid earlier warnings, we demand the IMMEDIATE resignation of the MD and other senior managers at NamWater.
