The Central North Regional Electricity Distributor (Cenored) has announced a planned power interruption that will affect several customers connected to the Uitkomst 11kV network at Grootfontein.
This is due to scheduled line maintenance.
In a notice issued on Monday Cenored says: “The outage will affect all farms and plots along the Uitkomst 11kV line, including Airforce Beacon 2, Wasmer, Boehme, Polzin, Japie, Poolmanskloof, Gute Hoffnung and Einbaum.”
According to Cenored, the planned interruption forms part of routine maintenance work aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply in the area.
The maintenance is scheduled to take place on 16, 18 and 20 March.
The outages will occur between 08h00 and 17h00 on each of the scheduled days.
Cenored is advising affected customers to take the necessary precautions during the maintenance period, noting that electricity supply will be restored once the work is completed.
