THE DR Congo’s quest for a World Cup place has been boosted by a donation of US$100 000.The Simbas were given the money towards their preparations for next weekend’s final 2006 World Cup qualifier against South Africa.

The cash donation was made by five local businesses based in Lubumbashi, the country’s second largest city, where the Simba’s are camping for the October 8 game.
