Capricorn Foundation invests N$2.6 million to boost education and bridge rural-urban gaps

Over the past four months, the Capricorn Foundation has invested N$2.6 million in various education and training initiatives.

The funds are aimed at addressing infrastructure needs, providing study materials and teacher training, and addressing rural-urban education gaps in Namibia.

“This investment reflects the foundation’s commitment to improving educational opportunities and strengthening communities across Namibia,” the foundation said in statement on Tuesday.

Foundation coordinator Veripura Muukua says education remains its key focus and an essential part of socio-economic development.

“As a connector of positive change, the foundation takes pride in bringing positive change through projects and programmes across Namibia,” she says.

She says investing in education empowers Namibian pupils, setting them on a path to career success and personal development.
