A 34-year-old Henties Bay resident was shot in the leg after he allegedly assaulted a policeman on Friday. Benedictus Baumgarten was arrested for assault with intention to cause grievous bodily harm.
Henties Bay Police said the suspect resisted being locked up in cells and physically assaulted the Police officer.
