Businesswoman on bribery charge

WINDHOEK businesswoman Louisa Engels was granted bail of N$20 000 when she made her first appearance in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

Engels (45), the owner of J&L Thatching, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with bribery after she allegedly handed over N$40 000 to an official of the Receiver of Revenue.
